25 Days of Fasting Update

On March 15th, well technically the 14th I started a challenge for myself to do intermittent fasting everyday for 100 days. My goal was to aim for 16 hours but I knew there would be days that I would do 14 hours and that was ok..at least I was still fasting. I wanted to do this not only to try and lose weight but for self control. I am such a snacker and if I’m not fasting I snack a ton and don’t have the self control to stop sadly so fasting helps me a lot. I had lost a few pounds when I weighed myself on day 14 but when I weighed myself yesterday on day 25, I sadly had gained it all back…why? Because I decided to take this week off from work and rest and well I have been having a bunch of junk and soda…which I know so bad ugh! I also have been so bad about my water intake and exercising since I have been home, actually I have been bad about exercising since this whole coronavirus started. I still take walks with the kids at work but other than that I wouldn’t do anything else. I joined another fasting challenge on Facebook yesterday for 30 days where we fast, drink a gallon of water and do some sort of exercise for 20 minutes. The past 2 days I have fasted over 17 hours, drank a gallon of water and exercised for 30 minutes. So lets hope when I weigh myself again on Sunday I am down a pound – fingers crossed!
