Week 1 Habit Updated!

Last week I decided to slowly start changing bad habits, into good habits and I wrote a blog post about it. Click here if you want to read that as well. I have noticed that anytime I want to add good habits into my life, I tend to try to change them all and add as many as I can possible. I end up failing every single time because it gets to be too much and I get overwhelmed. I am trying to do it a different way now. I started last week with changing 3 of my bad habits into good habits, and every week I will add one other habit to it until I can get all my bad habits turned into good habits.

I am going to go over the 3 habits that I started last week and add on one more for this week:

  • Taking supplements/vitamins daily – I have been on top of this habit actually. I also have been drinking my Strong Sexy Fit greens and obsessed with it as well. I notice such a different when I am on top of my vitamins/supplements especially since I have PCOS, the vitamins/supplements make such a difference. I am happy to share what vitamins/supplements I take on the daily maybe on another post.
  • Drinking Water – this is something I struggle with so much. I put my minimum water intake at 50 oz and I still struggled with this week. I am not going to add to it this week because I need to try to get to the minimum for a week or so before adding more.
  • Getting more steps in. My goal was to aim at 5,500 steps a day for at least 5 days a week, and I was able to reach my step goal 6 days last week. This week. I am going to aim to get 6,000 steps or more 5 days a week. I want to eventually do 10k steps, so I am working on slowly adding more and more every week.
  • My new habit for this week is to workout 2 to 4 times a week starting this week. Some weeks I am so good about working out and other weeks I am so bad and don’t work out what so ever. When I am good, I feel I need to workout daily in order for me to feel like I did, but its so wrong to think that way; therefore, I need to get into the habit to just workout even just twice a week.

  1. Slowly developing or changing habits can be a great process to not overwhelm you. It makes it much more likely they will work. Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a great Christmas!
