If I could have any job in the world…

For the past 12 to 15 years, being a nanny is what my career has been and probably will be for the next few years too. However, what I would love to be is a stay at home mom once we have a baby, but I don’t just want to be a stay at home mom. I would love to be able to work from home as a blogger and a photographer. At one point in my life, I wanted to become a book editor so I actually wouldn’t mind if I did that part time while being a stay at home mom. I am such a homebody that I would love nothing more than being at home and working from home.

March Goals

Boy this year is just flying on by isn’t it? It’s hard to believe it’s already March 1st, but it is and it is time to write my monthly goals for March. But first, let me look back on my February goals; I was able to complete all my goals except for one. I did not lose 6 to 9 pounds like I had hoped to lose but that’s ok!

Here are my monthly goals for March:

  • Upload 5 blog posts.
  • Read 1 book.
  • Be more social on social media and interact with fellow bloggers.
  • Follow a low fat diet.
  • Lose 3 to 5 pounds.

What are your monthly goals for this month?

Day 4: My Career!

If you have ever seen Mary Poppins then you must have guessed my career…I’m a nanny! I have been a nanny for over 12 years now…how crazy is that?!?! I absolutely love my job and so thankful I can do something that I enjoy so much on a daily basis. It such a fun and rewarding job watching the kids grow up but its also very hard too (Only my nanny friends will understand this part.) I always wanted to be a teacher when I was a child and I got to experience somewhat of that life when I applied to be an after school teacher for over 4 years I believe. Then one day I applied to a nanny job for summer break and I fell in love with it.

I don’t know if I see myself being a nanny for the rest of my life though – I have been thinking about opening my own indoor playground one day in the future, but I would also love to maybe one day make this blog my part time or even full time job and be able to stay home with my future kids.
